contemplating on impermanence

Occasionally I find myself catching a glimpse of a profoundly familiar tableau, sweeping me off present ground, transporting me some forty five years or more through time and space to specific childhood instances. These flickers have come to serve as a confirmation of the quite opposite of such elusive states of remembrance, rather fortifying the constants that in fact constitute my very self.
